Stay Sharp All Summer: Look for your child’s folder!
Stay Sharp summer folders are on their way home in your child’s backpack. This folder has fun enrichment ideas for summer break, including local outings, and math and literacy activities. It also gives a sneak peak at what your child will be studying next year. Check out the information on FREE LUNCHES at Thompson School and Robbins Library, too. Also, look for the coupon for a FREE book from the Book Rack — visit the Book Rack on Medford St in Arlington, and exchange your coupon for any used book up to $6 or take $2 off a new book. This is a great opportunity for your child to pick some summer reading! If you don’t have a chance to use your coupon, please save it and send it to your child’s teacher in September–they’ll use it to add to their classroom library!
Huge thanks to Kelly Mountain and Melissa Johnson for creating these folders!

Bake Sale at Stratton Polls!
As the community heads to the polls on Tuesday, June 11th, let’s offer the voters some tasty treats for sale! Historically, bake sales have been successful fundraisers especially when there is high voter turnout. Bakers, make us a plate of your favorite cookies, brownies, muffins, bread, or cupcakes! Non-bakers: donate a box of donuts or other store-bought baked good. Drop off all baked goods to the bake sale table near the doors to the polls anytime after 7:30 AM.
Arlington Eats Market Is (Temporarily) Moving!
On June 1, the Arlington EATS Market temporarily moved to Saint John’s Church (74 Pleasant Street, Arlington). They’ll be there for approximately two years.
Their hours are as follows:
• Donation drop-offs: Tuesdays, 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and Wednesdays, 8:15 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. until 5:15 p.m.
• Distribution: Wednesdays, 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
A big thank you to St. John’s—and the many community groups that also use the church—for their hospitality during this transition.
