Enrichment is at the core of the Stratton PTO

The enrichment team helps Stratton educators to organize and fund school Field Trips, In-School presentations, and special events.

The Stratton PTO funds a wide range of enrichment programming for students in all grades.

Past school-wide enrichment programs include an annual author visit. Norah Dooley visited virtually in Spring 2021. Peter Reynolds visited in Spring 2019. Last May, we virtually welcomed Christina Soontornvat. Christina Soontornvat is an award-winning author, engineer, and STEM educator. Her many works for children include picture books and the Diary of an Ice Princess chapter book series. Her middle grade fantasy novel, A Wish in the Dark, and All Thirteen: The Incredible Cave Rescue of the Thai Boys’ Soccer Team were both named 2021 Newbery Honor Books.

Other past enrichment offerings include a residency by muralist Brent Bataclan in Spring 2021 and by Circus Smirkus in Spring 2019.
